• I am a CrossBrowserTesting customer. What does this mean to me?

  Thank you for your business. You can continue to use CrossBrowserTesting until July 31st, 2023. To seamlessly continue running your tests, you can transfer your account setting over to BitBar.

  Contact your sales rep to transfer your settings and take advantage of a special offer to secure your rates when you renew. If you do not have a sales rep, simply log in and use the Easy Button to transfer your settings.

• What makes BitBar better than CrossBrowserTesting?

  • With multiple datacenters, BitBar is more performant and faster than CrossBrowserTesting.
  • BitBar allows for more deployment options, such as private cloud and dedicated devices.
  • BitBar is framework agnostic, meaning you have flexibility to use your preferred testing frameworks and languages.
  • Unlimited users means more flexibility for your teams.

• I'm a CrossBrowserTesting customer. How can I trial BitBar web testing?

  You can transfer your account by contacting your sales rep. If you do not have a sales rep you can simply log in and use the Easy Button to transfer your account settings in a simple click.

• Have any customers moved their web testing from CrossBrowserTesting to BitBar?

  Yes! Many CrossBrowserTesting customers have already transferred over! One customer said the connection stability in BitBar is much better and that they are “able to run 250-300 tests over 12 hours with no connection issues.”

• How do I access web testing in BitBar?

  All of BitBar features can be accessed from the left navigation.

  • For live testing, hover or click on “Live Testing” and select “Start a Browser Live Test.” From there, you can choose from a range of browsers on Desktop, iOS and Android.
  • For automated testing, hover or click on “Automation” and select “Create Automated Test.” From there, you can generate Selenium capabilities by selecting the Desktop OS type or Appium capabilities by selecting iOS or Android.

• Does BitBar Web have all the same features as CrossBrowserTesting?

  BitBar web was created with the needs of the market and web testers in mind, and not necessarily to replicate the exact features in CrossBrowserTesting. You will be able to perform live and automated testing on the latest and most popular browsers and real mobile devices.

  To run visual tests, you can also check out our latest product VisualTest which is also integrated with BitBar, giving you access to automatically run visual regression tests within your existing automation framework.

• I only need to test on desktop browsers. Does BitBar accommodate this?

  Yes! Our Desktop Browser plan will give you unlimited live and automated testing on desktop and headless browsers.

• I currently use TestComplete to create my web tests and execute in CrossBrowserTesting. Can I do this with BitBar?

  Yes! TestComplete also integrates with BitBar for cross-platform web and device testing. You simply need to connect to BitBar via the API key instead of using CrossBrowserTesting credentials. In case you are connecting to CrossBrowserTesting via script, you will need to update the Selenium hub URL.

• What happens to CrossBrowserTesting after July 31st 2023?

  After July 2023, you will not be able to access app.crossbrowsertesting.com and are encouraged to trial BitBar.

• What does BitBar cost?

  See our pricing page for more details. CrossBrowserTesting users who transfer their account settings before their plan ends will be able to take advantage of securing their current rates on BitBar when they renew.
