Not found in a manual, Henrik discusses the experience of using JavaFX Scene Builder as a bridge between designers and developers, GuavaFX – an in-house developed functional library for JavaFX’s ObservableLists and why the functional paradigm fits JavaFX perfect, and more. Attendees learn how key JavaFX features such as real-time charts, custom controls, the WebView, drag-n-drop, animations and effects are being used in LoadUI to make the user interface a competitive advantage.
In recent years, Henrik has been working exclusively on software that uses JavaFX to its full extent, including leading the project of converting 30,000 lines worth of JavaFX 1 to JavaFX 2. He was previously Software Developer at Eviware Software, maker of SoapUI
, the most used API testing tool in the world, acquired by SmartBear in 2011. He was previously a member of the Board, School of ICT at KTH, The Royal Institute of Technology.
