What do you do at SmartBear?
I am a Sales Development Representative.
How long have you worked at SmartBear?
I've been here for 7 months.
What do you work on, what are your responsibilities?
I am responsible for building opportunity pipeline for closing reps by working through leads. I'm the first point of contact for these leads by phone, email, or chat. The best part about my role is being able to contribute the success of the company as well as working closely with my peers to help with each other’s success.
What makes SmartBear special to you?
SmartBear is my first sales job and is special to me because I have developed skills and been challenged in ways that I have never been before. Working here has been an amazing experience. I have made so many lasting friendships and taken on responsibilities I once didn’t think I could handle.
How has working here impacted you personally and in terms of your career?
I was a bit lost before coming here. I had just finished my MBA and was told that sales might be a good fit for me, so I took the leap. SmartBear has changed my career path in a significant way but most certainly the best way possible. I know where I want to go, and I am excited to see where the path takes me.
How would you describe the company culture?
Work hard play hard, it's as simple as that.
