Introducing Cucumber for Jira

  October 29, 2019

As you may have seen, Cucumber joined the SmartBear family earlier this summer. Today, we’re excited to announce that we are launching a new product: Cucumber for Jira.

Cucumber for Jira facilitates collaboration between all of your stakeholders by bringing native BDD support to Jira. Here are some of the exciting capabilities that Cucumber for Jira enables:

  • Automatically publish your living documentation from your Git repository directly in your Jira project. You can then share this with your team since it’s written in Gherkin’s easy-to-understand language. Cucumber for Jira also has seamless integrations with the well-known Git providers like GitHub, GitLab and Bitbucket.
  • Build documentation as you develop your code. Create and link your Jira issues directly in Cucumber for Jira to your feature file in Git.
  • Work with Gherkin inside Jira. You’ll be able to use a native Gherkin feature file editor to collaborate with ease, along with being able to add comments, update your feature file with draft mode, and download in seconds.
  • See the current progress of your project. Upload your test results to Cucumber for Jira or push them from any CI tool.

There’s a lot more to Cucumber for Jira, and we encourage you to take advantage of a 30-day free trial to check out all the features and capabilities that our latest release offers.
