Types of Partners

Partners come in all different types. Distributors, vendors, retailers, consultants, systems integrators (SI), technology deployment consultancies, value-added resellers (VARs), and more.

To keep our program as simple as possible, we split our global partner ecosystem into three types:

  • Distributor
    Manages reseller/VAR relationships, and rarely engage with the customer.
  • Reseller
    Brokers sales between SmartBear and customers. Fulfills orders while focusing on high-quality service.
  • Technology
    Offers pre-and post-sales guidance for implementing SmartBear tools, plus helps with support and training. (VARs, global systems integrators, etc.)
