We understand you have choices of partners to help with your test automation and code review and we appreciate your business. Modernizing our pricing structure reflects our ongoing investment to provide you with enhancements in functional UI test and code review.
We recognize that some customers may need time to transition to the new model, and others will have questions about how this change effects their existing licenses. In an effort to make things as clear and transparent as possible, here is a list of FAQ:
When will you stop selling new perpetual licenses?
Sales of new TestComplete and Collaborator perpetual licenses will end on March 31, 2022. Any outstanding quotes created before this date will expire.
When will you stop extending maintenance on perpetual licenses?
Customers have the option to extend their maintenance through December 31, 2025.
Can I continue to use my licenses even if I do not renew maintenance
Yes, you can continue to use your existing perpetual licenses. However, you will not be able to upgrade to newer TestComplete/Collaborator versions, nor will you receive support.
I have existing TestComplete/Collaborator licenses. What happens if I want to purchase additional licenses after March 31?
Sales of additional licenses purchased after March 31 will be under the modernized subscription plan.
What happens to my TestComplete/Collaborator data if I stop renewing maintenance?
All files are stored within your own machines, so you will maintain ownership of your TestComplete/Collaborator data even if you stop renewing maintenance.
What happens to my perpetual license after maintenance is no longer extended?
After your maintenance has expired, you will not be able to upgrade to the latest versions of TestComplete/Collaborator or receive support without purchasing a subscription license. However, you will still be able to use your perpetual license.
Can I buy subscription licenses before April 1?
