In a recent Gatepoint Research survey of 126 executives across healthcare, financial services, retail, and other regulated industries, teams confirmed they’re under enormous pressure to release faster, but most don’t have the automation maturity to keep up. Here’s what the data shows:
- 60% of organizations are still in the early to middle stages of test automation maturity, and only 3% have reached continuous optimization.
- 63% of executives say releasing faster without impacting quality is their top priority, followed by reducing operational costs (51%) and improving release confidence (47%).
- 83% of teams have already adopted AI in testing or plan to, making AI-powered automation the fastest-growing trend in QA strategy.
- 64% report reduced operational costs and 56% see increased speed-to-market when they invest in automation and AI-powered testing.
