This networking event is connecting commercially ready green technologies and municipalities. Municipal adoption of new technology involves risk and uncertainty, while clean tech companies face obstacles in understanding municipalities’ procurement processes related to new technology. This event features a facilitated Q&A discussion followed by networking with the goal of discussing potential solutions to bridge the gap between municipality and clean tech company operations.
Doug McNary, CEO of SmartBear, Somerville Mayor Joseph A. Curtatone and Alicia Barton, CEO of MassCEC are delivering welcoming remarks. In attendance will be municipal officials who interact with facilities and technology adoption looking for new ways to reduce energy and water use and costs, companies with energy/water technologies that are ready for the market as well as industry stakeholders.
