Earlier this year, we shared the exciting news that Cucumber Ltd, the most widely adopted toolset for teams practicing Behavior-Driven Development (BDD), had joined HipTest as part of the SmartBear family.

This week, we officially announced that we are bringing Cucumber and HipTest together with the launch of CucumberStudio! CucumberStudio enables teams to get the most value out of their BDD scenarios through deep collaboration. CucumberStudio will maintain the core functionality and user experience of the HipTest platform with a number of new enhancements to support BDD workflows.

In this webinar, Laurent Py, VP of Test Management Products at SmartBear, and Steve Tooke, Senior Product Manager, CucumberStudio, will introduce CucumberStudio and share some of the background for why we brought our two products together into one platform.

They will also preview some of the exciting updates that will be coming from Cucumber in 2020!

They will cover:

  • Introduction to CucumberStudio
  • How this will impact HipTest users
  • How this will impact Cucumber users
  • What’s new in CucumberStudio?
  • What to expect in 2020

As developers build and release APIs faster in an Agentic AI assisted world, many enterprises are having to reshape existing API testing to ensure their APIs don’t lose quality and scale. Existing functional tests and unit tests may not suffice in identifying API quality introduced via agentic development.  ReadyAPI’s performance test module can build an extensive test suite based off existing infrastructure to capture minute slow-downs or bottlenecks. By building these tests into
