Under Ayush Anand‘s leadership, the Quality Engineering Center of Excellence at TELUS has seamlessly integrated AI into its daily practices. Their mission is clear: to stay ahead of the curve through cutting-edge tools, processes, and automation.  

With Reflect, TELUS has achieved codeless automation across web, mobile, and API layers, significantly accelerating delivery and reducing manual effort. They’ve also leveraged AI-driven test case generation and co-pilot frameworks for contract testing to streamline their processes.  

TELUS also developed an in-house AI chatbot that provides engineers with QE best practices, tools, and training, making AI an integral knowledge partner across the organization.

TELUS’s AI commitment has yielded impressive results:  

  • 200% increase in automated test cases in 6 months.
  • Automation accuracy improved from 65% to 90%, ensuring faster and more reliable validation. 
  • 750+ days of testing effort saved in just 100 days. 
  • Zero production defect leakages over the last quarter for teams using Reflect. 

These achievements demonstrate that AI is a strategic driver of agility, reliability, and quality at TELUS. With enhanced feedback loops and developer productivity, they’re delivering releases with unprecedented speed and confidence.

By adopting Reflect and increasing active users from zero to 300 in 100 days, teams were releasing features twice as fast and saw significant reductions in production defects.
