Usage Based Monitoring
Your business is not static—and neither are your monitoring needs. Web traffic may be heavier during the holidays. During promotions or sales, your monitoring needs may increase. Or, depending on the season, monitoring needs may decrease during some months.
In the past, you subscribed to a service plan with a fixed monitoring schedule. Monthly fees were based on pre-set monitoring configurations and intervals. There was no flexibility built into this system; you were required to pay for agreed-upon services whether or not those services were actually needed or most effective over time.
