Celebrating Customer Excellence: The SmartBear Customer Awards Program

SmartBear’s Quality Champion Award was the first of four distinctive awards we will present this year, each designed to honor different aspects of innovation and commitment in the industry.

Our inaugural recipients of SmartBear’s Quality Champion Award, Ryan Bolt, Global Software Engineer Director & CoE Lead from Boston Consulting Group (BCG) and Mital Shah, Manager of Software Quality Engineering at Universal Destinations & Experiences (a division of NBCUniversal/Subsidiary of Comcast), exemplify what it means to push the boundaries of software excellence. Ryan has been instrumental in developing BCG’s Center of Excellence, nurturing a culture that thrives on sharing knowledge and best practices. Since integrating SmartBear’s TestComplete and Zephyr Enterprise into their processes in 2019, Ryan and his team have set new benchmarks for software quality and reliability.

Mital’s work at Universal Destinations & Experiences showcases how strategic use of technology—like SmartBear’s automated API testing platform ReadyAPI—can transform operational efficiency. By ramping up automation by over 200%, Mital has not only enhanced his team's productivity but also fostered an environment where innovation flourishes.
