When customers purchase your product, it’s imperative to give them the necessary support tools to be successful. SmartBear saw an opportunity to improve customer retention for one of its very technical products. The company offered free customer education and training via webinars to address the issue. In the development of the program, Christina Lowe and Dana Rogozenski analyzed the content available and worked with others in the organization to align efforts. To promote the new program, newsletters were sent to past and present customers, in-product promotions were conducted, social media channels and community forums developed and more. The results were explosive. In this session, Christina and Dana outline exactly how they did it and bring the relationship between customer education, loyalty and customer retention to the forefront.
Currently at SmartBear, Christina Lowe builds programs to ensure users and customers are successful after purchasing the company’s software quality tools. She ensures adoption, retention and advocacy among SmartBear’s customers and users. Previously, she held several positions with EnerNoc, including Marketing Analyst, Channel Partners. She started a Women in Tech group at SmartBear. Christina has a bachelor’s degree in marketing and liberal studies from Bentley University.
As one of the founding members of SmartBear Academy, Dana Rogozenski has played an integral part in enabling thousands of customers by offering free and engaging product training webinars. SmartBear Academy launched in June 2016 and currently supports nine different products. In addition, Dana is responsible for managing and growing educational services and offerings with service partners to ensure customer success and adoption with SmartBear products. Previously, she held positions in sales management, training and business development in the technology, hospitality and content marketing spaces. Dana has a bachelor’s degree in philosophy with a concentration in communications and critical thinking from UMASS Lowell.
