SmartBear Expands Partnership with Lifeboat Distribution to Further Support Global Partners and Increasing Customer Requirements for Software Quality Tools

, provider of software quality tools used by more than one million developers and testers worldwide, with expanded resources to better serve the company’s partners with an emphasis on meeting the increasing demand for software quality tools internationally. SmartBear has tripled the size of its channel team, including the recent hire of Director of Channel Sales in EMEA, David Parkin
. The company has also expanded its partnership with Lifeboat Distribution
, a subsidiary of Wayside Technology Group, Inc
. (NASDAQ: WSTG), an international specialty software distributor, to further support international partners.

The expanded Lifeboat Distribution partnership significantly increases the resources available to support international partners in growing their SmartBear business. Additionally, SmartBear has signed more than 10 Elite Partners in key countries throughout the world including the UK, Germany, Netherlands, France, Russia, Japan, India, Australia and Brazil. These partners will act as local experts in SmartBear technologies, offering professional services to local customers.
