Caitlin Buxton Named Vice President, Global Channel Sales at SmartBear

Beverly, Mass. — May 07, 2013 — Caitlin Buxton has been named Vice President, Global Channel Sales at
SmartBear Software, provider of software quality tools used by more than one million developers and testers worldwide. Caitlin is a channel veteran with 15 years of experience in developing and executing channel strategies, increasing channel revenue and implementing award-winning channel partner programs for numerous companies. She was recognized by CRN as 2012 Channel Chief, 2012 Most Powerful Women of the Channel and 2010 Top 100 Most Powerful Women of the Channel.

Caitlin comes from Ipswitch where she grew channel revenue from existing partners by over 20% and average revenue per reseller by over 25%. Under her leadership, the company was named Tech Data's 2011 Fast Start Vendor Partner of the Year. Previously she was Director, North American Channel Sales & Inside Sales at AVG where she earned the company many awards including Business Solutions Magazine’s Best Channel Vendor in 2009 and 2010 and CRN’s 5 Star Partner Program in 2010. She has also served Red Condor and Kaspersky Lab in channel management roles.
