Andrew Park has spent most of his career at G3 Technologies, providing next generation wireless solutions that lead to business success for the company’s clients. Since 1998, he has worked as a programmer, software architect and project manager on a wide array of projects. At G3T, he is responsible for defining and shaping the software engineering culture and system/software testing culture for multiple technical teams. Andrew has a bachelor’s degree and master’s degree in electrical engineering from Virginia Tech and actively collaborates with students and staff of Carnegie Mellon University’s Institute for Software Research (ISR) in the CMU School of Computer Science.
As Senior Product Director at SmartBear, Mark Hammer often speaks and writes about the software development process with a special emphasis on code and artifact review. He has been helping organizations manage peer code and document review for many years. He has over 20 years of experience in software product management and marketing with a strong track record in developing customer-focused business solutions in both business-to-business and business-to-consumer markets.
Studies have shown that better code review leads to better code and higher quality software. Code review needs to be easy and efficient in order for development teams to adopt the practice, however. The key is the user experience, allowing other members of the team to easily and collaboratively provide feedback, and for the author to track and take action. Collaborator by SmartBear is the most full-featured, easy-to-use code and peer review tool available.
