SmartBear Connect 2020 Call for Speakers

April 27-29, 2020 - Renaissance Boston Waterfront Hotel

If you have a great story to share about your work in software quality, we invite you to submit a speaking proposal. The audience will include software quality practitioners and leaders, developers and development leaders, Agile and DevOps practitioners and others dedicated to creating quality software. There are many topics that will be of interest to this audience – here are just a few examples:

• Test automation
• API design and documentation
• API functional, security and performance testing
• Behavior Driven Development
• Machine Learning and AI in testing
• Testing in an Agile or DevOps model
• The shift left for all types of testing
• Continuous testing
• Performance and load testing
• Leveraging and integrating with open source tools and frameworks
• Testing Web and Mobile applications across mobile and browser platforms

Some important things to remember when considering a session are:

• The call for sessions is open through December 13, 2019
• We will notify speakers of acceptance by January 3, 2020
• Final session abstracts and speaker bios (with photo) are due January 31, 2020
• Speaking slots are 45 minutes long, including time for questions
• The software quality community has great diversity, and we want that same diversity to be reflected in our speakers and session topics
• No product pitches will be accepted

Speakers whose proposals are approved will receive the following, where permitted:

• A full conference pass, at no charge
• Discounted lodging at the conference hotel for up to three nights
• Invitation to our speaker’s dinner, Sunday night, April 26^th
