Test | Posted May 04, 2020

This blog is part of a monthly series highlighting the updates and happenings of our all-in-one automated API testing platform, ReadyAPI.

Hello friends, and welcome to our newest blog series where we cover all the goings-on with our API testing platform, ReadyAPI. This will be the quickest and easiest way to stay up-to-date on the newest releases and what’s coming down the pipeline for our customers. So, let’s get started!

To begin, we’re accelerating the pace at which we release updates. You can expect updates every 3-4 weeks now; so we encourage you to download the latest ReadyAPI version here to keep up. And to check back in with this blog series every month.

Speaking of latest version… we just released ReadyAPI 3.2.5, which includes several improvements to make API testing easier and more powerful. Below are some highlights:

Improved Git Support

  • Now you can store your Git and GitHub accounts in ReadyAPI for easy access. This is especially convenient for those who use several accounts.

  • It’s easier to attach your project to a repository. ReadyAPI shows repositories available to your account, so you can search them by name or description, and select the repo visually. ReadyAPI will get the repository URL automatically.

  • You can now also easily disconnect a project from a repository or connect to another one.

In addition, we made improvements to the SoapUI and VirtServer functions. You can find the full list of changes on the What’s New section our website.

Looking Ahead

The ReadyAPI team has 4 key themes as we continue our 2020 development:

  1. Integration and reuse
  2. The API lifecycle
  3. Automation
  4. User experience

You’ll see that future updates will center around these themes. We can’t wait to share our upcoming improvements with you as they occur.

That’s it for now. We encourage you to download the latest version of ReadyAPI here to see these highlights in action. There’s a free trial available if you’re new to the platform. We’ll have more exciting news on the next iteration of ‘What’s New in ReadyAPI’.

Till then – Happy Testing!
