TestComplete 101: Live Online Product Training for TestComplete Customers
Here at SmartBear, customer success is at the center of everything we do. If you’re a customer of any of our software quality tools, you may have noticed that we’ve introduced a few new initiatives for customers like you.
One of the biggest initiatives is our customer Fireside Chats. These chats are the perfect opportunity for customers to hear from our product teams about the new features that are currently being worked on, and get your questions answered from our product teams.

One piece of feedback we heard from customers at recent events is that they would like to have the chance to get more hands-on training with our products. And that’s why this month, we are excited to announce a new series of 101 Online Product Trainings.
What are the 101 product trainings?
This month, we are kicking off the trainings with our automated testing tool, TestComplete.
The training, hosted by our Manager of Sales Engineering, Gregg Hanson, is perfect for both new users and experienced users interested in a refresher on the tool. Also, if you have a new member on your team that needs help getting up and running on the product, this session will offer the training they need.
What will we cover?
This session will give you a kick start and fast ramp up to get the most out of using TestComplete. You will walk away knowing how to create a simple functional test, record and run tests, and create checkpoints.
We will cover:
- Introduction to automated testing
- TestComplete UI
- TestComplete Projects
- TestComplete Test Object Model
- Check Points
- Name Mapping
What is required to attend?
To get the most out of the training, we recommend that attendees follow along in your installed TestComplete. Gregg will go over some key functions and processes.
The training will be followed by a Q&A session where you can ask specific questions in the tool live with an expert there to assist you.
