SmartBear has once again been named to Gartner’s Magic Quadrant for Software Test Automation, this year emerging at where we believe is the head of the pack in the Leaders quadrant. We are placed highest in our Ability to Execute in what we are confident is a highly competitive field, and Gartner places 11 vendors in the Software Testing Magic Quadrant for 2018. You can read the report here.
How’d We Do:
Thanks to the tremendous support of our customer-base and the open source community, we believe we are placed highest in our Ability to Execute out of the 11 vendors evaluated. Gartner notes that “Leaders with the Ability to Execute deliver not only a strong product, but also a comprehensive offering that shows thought leadership and includes services, support, strong communities and partner ecosystems, which will collectively enable successful utilization of these products.”
As organizations move to Agile and DevOps software delivery, SmartBear has shown to be a proven leader in delivering software quality tools to a diverse set of personas across all stages of the software development process. Development, Testing, and Operations Teams can use SmartBear tools like TestComplete, ReadyAPI, CrossBrowserTesting, HipTest, and TestLeft to create, execute, analyze, and maintain automated tests for web, mobile, and desktop applications as well as APIs and databases in a continuous environment.
“We’re proud to be recognized by Gartner as a Leader in the Magic Quadrant,” said Christian Wright, Chief Product Officer and Executive GM at SmartBear. “We believe our Leader position reaffirms our vision of enabling quality throughout the software development lifecycle through a comprehensive test automation portfolio. We see Gartner’s recognition reflects the excellent feedback we receive from our vast customer base and our teams’ ability to deliver open, collaborative, and easy-to-use tools to our users.”
Since The Report:
While the report is conducted throughout much of H1, SmartBear has continued to make considerable strides since: growing our global sales team to all major continents, acquiring Zephyr and HipTest, and innovating organically with the release of LoadNinja, our newest performance testing tool.
