It's inevitable that some issues will arise with the most visited sites on the Web. It's also inevitable that there will also be some amazing success stories from sites that withstood thousands of pings a second without so much as a hiccup.
But none of that should really matter to you. Seriously, what do you care if Amazon successfully handled 400 purchases a second?
