Last week, folks from all over the world congregated in Boston for our annual user conference, SmartBear Connect, to talk about developing, testing, and monitoring software. Attendees learned in product training sessions, listened to SmartBear customers and industry experts on cutting-edge topics, and exchanged ideas with fellow attendees and SmartBear staff about how to solve challenges on a wide variety of use-cases.
The conference started off with a Welcome keynote given by SmartBear CEO, Justin Teague. During this session Justin unveiled our new load testing tool, LoadNinja. The LoadNinja team then took the stage to give an overview of the tool.
After the Welcome session, the product trainings kicked off, featuring 11 unique tracks that corresponded to different products and levels of advancement.
The Welcome Party brought a nice break from product trainings at the end of Day 1. We chatted with both old and new friends, played Miss Pacman, and ate delicious food – including donuts for dessert.
Day 2 of SmartBear Connect brought insights from fellow SmartBear customers and industry experts. They spoke on a variety of topics, such as unique ways they have implemented SmartBear tools into their workflows and industry trends that have impacted their teams. One example is Cyndi Recker (below, top right) from Viasat, who shared how she and her team have implemented SwaggerHub to help standardize their data structure to create a single source of truth.
Throughout the conference, our product engineers were at the SmartBAR to give demos, highlight useful features, and answer any questions attendees might have.
