AutomatedQA purchases Pragmatic Software & Software Planner
Test and Monitor | Posted September 16, 2009

We’re excited to announce that AutomatedQA has purchased Pragmatic Software, makers of Software Planner. Software Planner is an ALM tool for software development including requirements, deliverables, tests, defects and support. It already has a great integration with TestComplete and we’re looking forward to making it even better.

Steve Miller, Pragmatic’s CEO and now AQA’s VP of ALM Solutions, and Pragmatic have been AutomatedQA partners for some time. They enhanced Software Planner to plan and run automated tests using TestComplete’s open API. We admired the Software Planner product and Pragmatic’s work on the integration. We enjoyed partnering with them to offer solutions for our customers. Steve and the team are smart and savvy and they share our passion for helping our customers ship great software. It was a natural fit and so here we are, together at last.

As of today, the award-winning Software Planner is now available as part of the AutomatedQA family of products. It’s a great web based ALM to help teams plan, test and build quality software. We think you’ll love it and we invite you to give it a try and let us know what you think.
