Podcast: Preview of 2010 Shop.org Annual Summit
Develop | Posted September 24, 2010

As we mentioned a few weeks ago, next week (Sept. 27 - Sept. 29) we're going to be exhibiting at the 2010 Shop.org Annual Summit in Dallas. Obviously, if you're going to be attending too, we'd love for you to stop by our booth (#1400) to try out some of our monitoring solutions and learn more about Web performance management.

We had the opportunity to speak with Larry Joseloff, VP of Content for Shop.org, for a preview of what to expect next week, as well as some recommendations on the must-see sessions of the conference. Larry also delves briefly into one of this year's core themes--mobile--and how retailers are hungry for information on how they can capitalize on it as a direct purchasing tool and also as a cross-channel tool for things such as customer reviews, price comparisons, customer service help, etc. As we wrote about earlier this week, the opportunities created for retailers by the mobile phenomenon are extensive.

I invite you to listen to the podcast below and to check out some of the sessions Larry highlights. If you can't make the show, though, you can follow along at http://blog.shop.org, or join in the conversation on Twitter by following #shoporg10. Hope to see you there!
