Integrations - Automated Build Studio

Supported Integrations

Support for 170+ Tools

With Automated Build Studio, you can automate almost any step of software development, deployment and testing processes. The product supports over 170 commercial and free tools including compilers, source control systems, virtual and cloud machines, database servers, issue-tracking systems, installation builders, IMs and more.

See the list of Supported Tools to check whether Automated Build Studio supports the application you need.

Even if you do not find this or that application in the list, you can automate it by using command-line arguments, by creating VBScript or JScript code working with the application via COM, or by writing a custom ABS operation.

Microsoft Visual Studio Integration

Automated Build Studio can run as a stand-alone application or as part of Microsoft Visual Studio 2002-2012. Automated Build Studio integrates its panels, dialogs, toolbars and menus into Visual Studio, so you can use Build Studio features within a familiar IDE. Besides UI integration, Automated Build Studio also extends other Visual Studio subsystems like projects, team builds, Team Explorer, Team System, enabling you to --

  • Create, configure, debug and run Automated Build Studio macros directly from Visual Studio’s IDE.

  • Extend your Visual Studio projects with Automated Build Studio macros.

  • Run Automated Build Studio macros from your MSBuild projects.

  • Run Automated Build Studio macros as part of your team builds.

  • Run Build Studio macros from Team Explorer (currently works in Visual Studio 2005, 2008 and 2010).
