In addition to integrating to Microsoft Visual Studio IDE, AQtime Pro also integrates into Visual Studio test projects. This integration gives Quality Assurance personnel the ability to extend Visual Studio test projects and team builds with AQtime Pro projects. For instance, you can create tests that use AQtime Pro to search for memory or resource leaks in your application, check the application for performance bottlenecks or verify the platform compliance. This functionality makes your tests even more flexible and powerful.

AQtime Pro extends test projects created in Microsoft Visual Studio 2005, 2008 and 2010.

How It Works

AQtime Pro adds a new AQtime test to the list of available test items:

To integrate AQtime Pro tests into your Visual Studio tests, simply add the AQtime test item to your test project. The item will appear in the Solution Explorer as a child node of your test project.

You can modify the test item properties to select the profiler to be used for your tests, AQtime Pro project to be run, and TestComplete project that can be used (if needed) to simulate user actions.

AQtime Pro test results are shown in Visual Studio just like any other test item’s results:

Team Builds Support

You may configure your builds so that they execute Visual Studio test projects after the build has finished. AQtime Pro tests can be called in these projects.

AQtime Pro integration package for Visual Studio 2010 offers extended functionality: it supports Visual Studio 2010 test controllers and build agents and can run AQtime Pro tests on computers where Visual Studio 2010 is not installed.
