Social Media Drives Sales Leads and Lands Prestigious Industry Award for SmartBear

Beverly, Mass. Oct. 25, 2012SmartBear Software today received a prestigious Forrester Groundswell Award in the category of Business-to-Business Talking for its entry “SmartBear Gets Smart On Social.” The award recognizes excellence in the effective use of social technologies to advance a business goal. Since May, SmartBear's social reach across Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn and Google+ has grown 130 percent, leading to 303 leads from the summer alone.

During the three- month time period, the average daily @SmartBear mentions on Twitter doubled as people reached out directly with questions, comments and praise. SmartBear is successfully branding itself as a resource, not just a company offering a series of products. Social media is also helping SmartBear to know what users and followers are saying so they can improve across all areas.
